It's important to find a coach
you can relate to.
If you're looking for a life coach I'm honored to be considered. Coaching is a process that doesn't necessarily require experience in your issues, but skills in listening, questioning, motivating, clarifying, and more.
However, it doesn't hurt to feel understood, and for that, I have many experiences that might help me to relate to whatever you are tackling.
Here are a few examples of the life steps I've gone though which you may connect with:
If you're on this web page, you must be looking for someone to connect to. Feel free to sign up for a FREE COACHING SESSION . If you don't think we're a good fit, I can put you in touch with my network of life coaches to find you the right connection.

More About Monica
From wife and parent to nature lover and traveler and so much in between, I find it hard not to find a connection with most everyone. I am the seventh of ten children and the mother of three. My husband Steve and I thoroughly enjoyed raising our children (they are 24-29 years old), and we still love their company! Whether playing Risk or Ultimate Frisbee, or cooking a Thanksgiving feast, we enjoy making it a family affair.
All three of our children were married between 2007 and 2010, a transformational experience in and of itself. We became grandparents in January, 2008, and have a new one on the way soon. Despite, or because of the empty nest syndrome, we have a four year old dog named Celtie. She is a joy and my hiking companion, but she is my new toddler! What was I thinking?!
Preparing for and pursuing a career was a process I really enjoyed helping my children with. I have changed careers several times myself. With all this experience, I have many insights and ideas to share. It's never too late to pursue your dreams and find out who you are meant to be. If you don't explore your options you'll never know what is possible.
On a more personal level, my younger brother, Paul, passed away after a 9-month battle with lung cancer. My siblings and I took care of him, brought him to medical appointments AND we also tried to make Paul's life more joyful with the time we had together. I learned a lot about the family dynamics of dealing with an illness and would like to be able to share my perspective with anyone struggling with similar issues.
I have spent years working in the community service arena as a volunteer, a project manager, an adviser to young women, and as a fundraiser. The world is full of opportunities where we can do more than just make a difference. We can share our passion with the next generation.
Now my coaching journey has continued into a networking phase. As a part of that, I am now the co-facilitator for a women's empowerment network called Powerful You!, Southwestern CT chapter. We meet the third Friday of every month. Any and all women are welcome, whether you are an entrepreneur, a corporate exec a retiree or a stay-at-home-mom.
